I make individually handcrafted quilts and other textile items, such as cushions and hot water bottle covers, which are both decorative and functional.

My style tends toward the modern and contemporary, often using deceptively simple designs of squares or strips to best showcase the beautiful colours and patterns of the fabrics. Each quilt is made with meticulous attention to detail using 100% cotton quilting fabric and threads. Low loft 100% cotton batting or wadding is used to provide warmth without weight, resulting in a quilt that is soft with a lovely drape. The quilts are hand or machine quilted, either by me or by a professional long arm quilter, and the quilting patterns are carefully chosen to complement and enhance the finished design.

The artisan quilts I make are bright and colourful whilst also providing a warm welcome when you just need to curl up in something soft and cosy. They are made to be used and loved, becoming treasured heirlooms to be passed on to future generations.
