Workshops & Classes

I enjoy making beautiful things and love helping people make beautiful things for themselves.  You choose the colours and materials and we’ll take it from there.  One to one tuition is available, or you can learn as part of a small group.

Need lovely cakes for a special occasion?  I can help you make fondant decorations, in the comfort of your own home, that you can use to decorate your own cupcakes or a larger cake.  Fondant decorations can be made well in advance of the event – so no pressure on the big day.

Would you love to make a quilt but don’t know where to start?  Don’t worry!  With a little help, anyone can make a quilt.  I am running a series of classes at Fabric HQ which will give you all the skills you need.

Quilted Half-Square Triangle Cushion – 19 Jul & 26 Jul 2017 – SPACES
Want to learn to make a quilt but not sure you want to commit to such a large project?  Join me and learn how to construct a really pretty quilted half square triangle cushion.   This class will allow you to practise all the main techniques of making a quilt (piecing, using a rotary cutter, basting, straight-line quilting, binding) whilst working on a smaller project.

Learn to Make a Contemporary Patchwork Quilt – The Stacked Book Quilt – 20 Sep, 4 Oct & 18 Oct 2017 – SPACES
It’s back!  This 3 part class will take you through all stages of making a beautiful lap quilt.  The strip design resembles a wobbly stack of books and looks equally at home in modern or traditional interiors.

Contact me if you’d like to arrange individual tuition, tailor made to your particular needs, or for a small group of up to six people.  Individual tuition starts at £20 per hour ,with a minimum 2 hour session, arranged at a time to suit you.
